Nokia N97: First Look

Like every other smart phone, the Nokia N97 is not just your regular mobile phone it is a multimedia device. But where the N97 truly outshines it competitors is by integrating the cutting edge technology in every single feature. The first look at the demo on youtube reveals a stylish silver wide screen phone which slides open into a tilt screen display with full QWERTY keyboard.

Also, along with a 5mega pixels camera with Carl ZeissTessar lens this phone has a Dual LED flash which means now you can take pictures at night without the fear of grains or bad lighting that plagues almost all phone cameras. And with a mind-blowing 48GB (!!!) memory space, you can capture your whole lifetime in pictures. The camera also takes DVD quality videos, which you can watch on the 16:9 widescreen (640x360 mp) or you could connect the phone to the nearest TV using the headphone jack.

The longevity of its battery is another remarkable feature. It comes with the replaceable batteries each of which can give you 400 minutes of talk time and also an astonishing 430 hours of standby time. Add to that an audio playback time of 37 hours and this phone becomes every travelers dream. So if you are taking a trip into the wilderness, the N97 is your perfect companion.
